How to Manage Being in the hospital, life, and this Crazy Year.

“This ain’t no sprint or marathon. It’s a triathlon without a finish line.”

If we were connected back in July, you might recall that I took on a nineteen-hour bike ride to raise some money for charities helping with the pandemic. No doubt, it was a challenge, but knowing when it would end gave me the confidence to keep pedaling.

But what happens when we can’t see the finish line? What do we do?

Last week, I was reminded of what we need to do as I spent Monday and Tuesday in the hospital. It was a rough start, but I finished strong because of the quote above that I first shared when all this crazy started in March.

In this week’s video, I let you know how I landed in the emergency room and how some pause, breathe, and reflect (or recover) time helped me discover what we need to be doing today to get through our seemingly never-ending “triathlon” known as 2020.

It just may be the best present you will receive this year.

A special shout-out to Valley Medical Center in Ridgewood, NJ, for being in my peloton last week; thanks for letting me grab your wheel and taking care of me. You’re awesome-sauce.

Until next week, Happy Hanukah, and remember to pause, breathe, reflect, and don’t forget to pick up your P.B.R. gear in time for your holiday celebrations. Inventory is going fast.

And, of course, have fun storming the castle.

We got this!

Talk with you next week.
